Animals for the asking
Direct contact with animals is the most exciting attraction for the youngest tourists. There are several places full of animals in the neighbourhood of Żurawiec Guesthouse. They will delight not only kids but also their parents.

There is a mini ZOO in Połczyn-Zdrój located next to the Mr. and Mrs. Daniłowicz homestead (15a Młyńska Street).It gives us a possibility to meet a few dozen bird and mammal species. Monkeys, ostriches, goats and exotic birds make the biggest impression. There is an agrotourism farm specialized in ostrich husbandry located in lovely village Prosino, 8 km away from Żurawiec. Mr. and Mrs. Harasimiuk, the owners, will organize a few hours of a great time for families with children. In program: conversation about ostriches, ostrich eggs and feathers show, observation of ostriches, games on children’s playground, grilling sausages, quiz about ostriches, sign in to the Guestbook. Next impressive attraction is the Ressel Family’s Husbandry. It is a big farm located in Jelenino village (25 km away from Żurawiec). Farm is specializing in fallow deers, deers and Manchurian deers rearing. Husbandry has an area of 270 ha of forests, meadows and ponds with 700 animals and 100 bulls in it.
